Career Cruising to Integrate Third Coast EDP (Michigan Users)

We are very pleased to announce that Career Cruising and Third Coast Software Dev., Inc. have reached an agreement to integrate Third Coast EDP into Career Cruising's career exploration and EDP software.

The integrated package gives schools an unrivaled choice when looking for a comprehensive, economical solution for their EDP management and career exploration needs.

Over the coming months, we will be integrating the features that Third Coast has developed with the career exploration and inventory tools in Career Cruising to create a powerful, user-friendly, and fully-customizable EDP tool. Some of the features that will be available September 1, 2003 include:

• Instant messaging that allows educators to communicate with all their students or with specific groups of students based on certain criteria (e.g. all students interested in a particular occupation, pathway, or college)
  
• Tracking of completion levels for student EDPs
  
• Export tools that allow administrators to export data collected in student EDPs to other applications
  
• Mass printing of EDPs
  
• Automatic PDF creation for student EDPs and resumes
  
• The ability to enter the results of over 20 different assessments
  
• Numerous customizable reports for administrators to complete state-required audits
  
• Post-graduation login

These additions, combined with our comprehensive database of careers and colleges across the country, will make Career Cruising an invaluable career exploration and planning resource for schools throughout Michigan.
