Career Cruising and Triumph College Admissions partner to provide online test prep

Career Cruising and Triumph College Admissions (TCA) are pleased to announce a new partnership to offer SAT and ACT preparation software as an add-on to Career Cruising’s industry-leading online career exploration and portfolio development system.

“We are very excited to be working with TCA. Their learner-centred approach, exceptional support, and top-notch content are an excellent match for Career Cruising’s existing tools,” Matt McQuillen, Career Cruising President.

TCA’s Online StudyGuide helps students prepare for the SAT and ACT by working through real tests, focusing instruction on their areas of critical weakness, and reviewing test-taking strategies in-depth. Schools using Career Cruising will be able to purchase the Online StudyGuide as an add-on to complement and enhance their students’ post-secondary planning and preparation process.

“Our goal has always been to help high schools raise standardized test scores for all students - not just those who can afford it. Through a disciplined approach to skills improvement, many students who might never have been able to go to college because of low test scores are able to gain acceptance to the college or university of their choice. We're very proud of that,” says TCA CEO William Zuberbuhler.

The two organizations are currently working on integrating various aspects of their software to simplify the experience for both students and teachers. This winter, schools in South Dakota will begin piloting the Online StudyGuide in conjunction with Career Cruising’s My Portfolio, a custom portfolio development system in use throughout the state. Career Cruising will begin offering TCA’s Online StudyGuide broadly in the fall of 2009.
