Career Cruising is very excited to announce that its online career guidance system is now fully compliant with Section 508 of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA 508), a leading web accessibility standard.

To attain ADA 508 compliance, we have followed detailed guidelines to make sure that Career Cruising is as accessible as possible for people with disabilities, particularly those who require assistive technology such as screen readers. Users with screen readers will notice that all of the images in Career Cruising have been tagged with descriptive text, repetitive sections of navigation can be easily skipped, and all data fields in forms have descriptive tags to make it easy to enter information.
Moving forward, new features added to Career Cruising will be developed in compliance with ADA 508 standards.
