Atlantic schools embrace Career Cruising

Career Cruising is excited to announce that the schools in Atlantic Canada have moved quickly to integrate Career Cruising into their practice. Over 600 middle and high schools in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador, have had access to Career Cruising since the fall of 2008, and teachers and students have been eager to embrace the program.

“We’re very pleased with how fast schools in the Atlantic provinces have moved to integrate Career Cruising,” Jeff Harris, Career Cruising’s Vice-President. “We greatly appreciate all of the work that has been done at the provincial, district, and school level across Atlantic Canada and we look forward to building on this success in 2009-10 school year.”

The Council of Atlantic Ministers of Education and Training licensed Career Cruising for use in all public middle and high schools for three years beginning in the fall of 2008. All schools have access to the bilingual version of the program.

Career Cruising is now licensed for use in schools province-wide by six Canadian provinces and one territory.
