Updates to the Portfolio Tool and Administrator Tool

We have the addition of a number of updates to report this month.

Additions to the Administrator Tool:
There have recently been some improvements to the Add or Modify Courses section of the Administrator Tool. This is the section in the Administrator Tool that allows you to enter the courses users at your site can pick from to create their school education plan.

• When adding a course you can now specify the number of credits and the length of the course.
  
• There is now a "Printer-Friendly Report" for all of the courses that have been entered. This link appears on the Modify Courses page for each grade. The "Printer-Friendly Report" feature will allow you to quickly produce a printed course calendar.
  
• When entering a course, the following fields are now mandatory: Course Name, Subject Area, Course Type (Required, Elective), Grade Level.
  
• The length of the course name has been restricted to 39 characters so the course names will be correctly displayed in users' education plans.
  
• The Modify Course screen now uses a garbage can icon to represent the link to delete a course from the list.

• Within the Education Plan section of the Portfolio, there is now a "Printer-Friendly Report" version of a user's 4-year education plan. To see this feature, login to a portfolio, click the Education Plan button, then click "View My Education Plan". You will notice that there is a new "Printer-Friendly Report" link. This allows users to print a single document displaying their education plan.
