- Test retests to measure consistency
of results
- Correlations or item consistency with scales
- Chronbach alpha scores
- Careful logical reviews of questions
to ensure content validity
- Testing face validity through hundreds
of face-to-face interviews, as well as having every individual who
takes the instrument rank his/her degree of agreement with results
on a five-point scale
- R Mode factor analysis
- Conducting
follow-up personal interviews and comparing them with instrument-generated
results
- Factor analysis for consistency across race, age
and gender
