The Xyting Insight™ assessment is available online, taken individually, and completed in approximately 20 minutes. Individuals log on to the survey through the Internet, read instructions, and respond to simple questions by clicking on a six-point continuum to select the behaviors that they prefer. Using a computer instead of paper and pencil ensures that an individual answers all the questions before a profile is determined. The computer software analyzes and calculates the responses and, if needed, dynamically generates additional questions to verify the profile of the individual.

Click to Enlarge Image	Results are generated immediately after all the questions have been answered. The individual is presented with a report on the computer screen describing one appropriate profile of sixteen possibilities. The individual is asked to read the profile and determine if it matches with his or her behaviors by selecting a percentage of agreement. An individual who does not agree with his or her profile may take the assessment again.

If the individual agrees with the profile, he or she will be presented with a full 12 page profile description. This 12 page profile may be saved to an individual's Career Cruising portfolio or printed for future reference. In addition, the profile includes links to related occupations within Career Cruising, so that individuals can investigate career and education paths suited to their personal strengths and preferences.
