Mathematics Electives  Foundations of Algebra and Geometry A  3401  This course will provide students with the foundation for high school mathematics. The course content will draw from mathematical concepts and procedures of number sense, measurement, geometry, probability, statistics, and algebra. Mathematics calculations will be done routinely by using mental math, paperandpencil, and technology. Strategies for problem solving, reasoning, communicating, and making connections will be emphasized using the concepts of this course. This course does not count towards math credit graduation requirements.  CREDIT: 0.5  TYPE: Standard  GRADE: 9  OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Counselor Approval Required.  COREQUISITES: If you take this course, you must also take 3402  Foundations of Algebra and Geometry B  Foundations of Algebra and Geometry B  3402  This course will provide students with the foundation for high school mathematics.
