Students will prepare for the AP test. They will review and practice all listening comprehension skills, speaking skills, and reading comprehension skills, and writing skills that were taught in the first three years of this language. The will become proficient at expressing themselves in the language. After completing the course, students will take the College Board AP exam.

AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE 1A AMSL1A
Students will learn beginner signs to communicate in sign language. Learning ASL will give the opportunity of learning to communicate in another language. It will also promote memory skills by memorizing location and placement of different signs, social skills by learning the correct etiquette when signing, strengthen fine motor skills, and it will help build and reinforce creativity because many signs are iconic and facial expressions and acting take place when communicating in sign language.
